Southern Connection Rescue is a volunteer run foster based dog rescue who is in partnership with Northern Reach Rescue Network. Our mandate is to find homes for the northern dogs within the Greater Toronto Area. All of our rescues come from Northern Reach who has partnered with over 15 remote fly in communities to not only rescue sick, homeless, stray dogs, but also bring in dogs surrendered by community members that simply want a better life for their furry friend...SEE MORE
There are 85 dogs waiting to come out of Sandy Lake; one of the fly in communities that are awesome at trying to help get dogs out. COVID has caused chaos, no spay and neuter clinics can go up and dogs keep having more babies! Northern Reach does not have enough rescues to take in our Ontario dogs, rescues do not have fosters or adopters. Food is sent up when possible to keep the dogs from fighting but soon something will need to be done to control the population. This is happening in our province guys, please step up and help anyway you can by fostering/adopting or by sending some money to help with vetting and by sharing for awareness. PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR NORTHERN DOGS!
We are a small group of dedicated animal lovers who thrive to make a difference in the world, one dog at a time. We are 100% foster based and volunteer run. We have a very thorough adoption process to ensure we find the best family for our dogs.
Your support and contributions will enable us to help these animals. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
We also graciously accept e-transfers to southernconnectionrescue@gmail.com
