Polar came into care when he was only a few days old, requiring around-the-clock bottle feedings, warmth, and lots of love. Despite the odds being stacked against him, Polar proved to be a resilient little fighter and has grown into a happy, healthy puppy.
His absolute favourite thing in the world is mealtime, and he isn’t shy about letting everyone know when he’s hungry! Toys are a close second, followed closely by cuddles and cozy naps. After a busy day of playing and exploring, Polar is more than happy to curl up in a comfy dog bed for some well-earned rest.
While Polar can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his sweet and affectionate personality to shine through. Once he feels comfortable, he’s all about gentle affection, playtime, and being close to his people.
Polar is expected to grow into a med/large-breed dog with a beautiful fluffy coat that will keep him warm during Canadian winters. He has already been introduced to a variety of people, dogs, and cats, helping him build the confidence and social skills needed to become a wonderful family companion.

This sweet girl may be the smallest of her litter, but she has a personality that is larger than life!
Cinnamon came into care at only a few days old alongside her littermates, arriving from a northern community in need of warmth, bottle feedings, and plenty of love. From the very beginning, she took nicely to her feeding schedule and never missed a meal. Since then, she has grown like a weed, tripling in size while maintaining her title as the tiniest member of the family.
Don't let her small stature fool you—Cinnamon is a confident, curious, and playful puppy who can hold her own when wrestling with her much bigger brothers. She approaches life with enthusiasm and enjoys exploring her surroundings, playing with her favorite toys, and discovering new adventures.
Raised in a home with other dogs and cats, Cinnamon has been exposed to a variety of experiences and has met many new people along the way. She loves making friends and greets both humans and animals with a happy and welcoming attitude. Her outgoing nature and adaptable personality make her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes.

Meet Greta!
Greta has settled into her foster home beautifully! She loves following her older foster brothers around and has happily joined in playtime with both the dogs and cats. While she was a little unsure of the cats at first, her curiosity quickly took over and she now enjoys keeping an eye on their adventures.
She even had her first glimpse of a horse and donkey from a distance. Greta stood frozen in surprise until the donkey offered a loud hello—at which point she decided a speedy retreat to the house was the better option!
Greta adores her toys, is respectful of furniture and plants, and sleeps quietly in her own bed all night. She is making great progress with house training and is a smart little girl who learns quickly. She has almost mastered "sit" and is eager to please. Greta is a sweet, affectionate pup who is sure to bring lots of love and laughter to her future family.

Meet Dory
Dory is a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being close to her people. She has settled beautifully into foster care and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. While she enjoys playful puppy moments, she is equally happy to curl up on a dog bed or the couch for a nap.
One of Dory's favorite things is toys! She loves carrying them around the house and collecting them on her beds, but she happily shares with her furry friends. She is friendly and loving with adults and is expected to do well with respectful children.
Dory is currently working on house training and is proving to be a smart girl. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle nature and lots of love to give, Dory may be the perfect addition to your family.

Beautiful and sweet Toast has already been through more than most dogs do in a lifetime.
In his northern community, Toast was marked to be culled with paintballs. But then something incredible happened…he was given a chance. Toast boarded a plane and made his journey to safety.

In his northern community, Toast was marked to be culled with paintballs. But then something incredible happened…he was given a chance. Toast boarded a plane and made his journey to safety.
Once he arrived with us, we ensured he received the care every dog deserves. Toast was fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for both heartworm and Lyme disease. Unfortunately, we received heartbreaking news that Toast tested positive for heartworm and has now begun the long and rigorous treatment process.
For the next couple of months, Toast will remain in foster care while he undergoes this difficult course of medication and strict rest. Heartworm treatment is not easy, but Toast is facing it with the same gentle spirit that has carried him this far.
Despite everything he has endured, Toast remains incredibly loving. He adores everyone he meets and gets along with everything around him. We believe Toast is about a year old, and aside from heartworm, he is healthy, happy, and full of love.
