Meet Letty

Letty is an approximately 10-month-old pup who came to us from a remote community in Northern Ontario. She appears to be a Husky/Shepherd mix and is on the smaller side at just 10 kg, and is expected to remain a petite girl even when fully grown.

Letty is fully vetted—she is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and on regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention—so she’s all set to find her forever home.

Letty is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who is still learning about the world around her. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves being close by, whether she’s supervising household chores or keeping a watchful eye on mealtime preparations. When she feels unsure, Letty will quietly sit beside her person for reassurance, showing just how much she trusts and relies on her humans.

With continued exposure and positive experiences, Letty is gaining confidence every day. She is still learning how to play—both with toys and with other dogs—but is making steady progress with patient guidance and encouragement.

Letty thrives on affection and happily returns it in equal measure. She is very treat-motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training and confidence-building.

She has shown no destructive tendencies in her foster home and is proving to be a calm, well-mannered companion.

Letty would do best in a home that understands she is still building confidence and is willing to support her with gentle guidance, patience, and love. In return, she will be an incredibly loyal and affectionate addition to her forever family.

Meet Oreo

Oreo was born on November 23, 2025, and is a lovable Border Collie mix with a mystery dad! He came into our care after his family was evacuated from a remote community. While he was clearly very loved, caring for an energetic puppy in a hotel room for an extended period became challenging, and they made the difficult decision to surrender him so he could have the space and life he deserves.

Now weighing 23 lbs, Oreo is expected to grow into a 60–70 lb adult. He is already off to a great start with his training—doing well with potty habits, learning basic commands, and improving nicely on leash.

Oreo sleeps comfortably in his crate at night and has a gentle, affectionate nature. He is currently living in a foster home with other dogs, where he is learning pack dynamics and settling into his role as the “omega.” Like most young pups, he has a good amount of energy, especially as he adjusts to his new environment, but this is already improving as he enjoys having space, structure, and playmates.

Oreo will be neutered shortly and will be fully up to date on vaccinations. He will also be microchipped and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.

This sweet boy is ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to grow, learn, and thrive.

Meet Gunner

Gunner is an approximately 9-month-old Shepherd/Husky mix who came to us from a remote community. This handsome boy weighs about 14 kg and is expected to remain on the smaller side when fully grown.

Gunner is fully vetted—he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations (including rabies, DHPP, leptospirosis, and bordetella), microchipped, and on regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention—so he is ready to find his forever home.

Gunner is a sensitive and affectionate young pup who forms strong bonds very quickly. He is happiest when he’s close to his person and prefers companionship over toys at this stage—he simply wants to be near you, soaking up love and attention.

He is still learning about the world around him and is currently working on building confidence, especially when it comes to socializing with other dogs. He is comfortable as long as interactions are slow and respectful, and with continued positive exposure, he will continue to grow in confidence.

Gunner is wonderful with children and has a gentle, loving nature that makes him an excellent family companion. He is also very well behaved in the home and has shown no destructive tendencies.

He is almost fully potty trained and just needs a little more consistency to get him all the way there. With his eagerness for food and affection, Gunner is a great candidate for continued training and will thrive with patient, positive guidance.

Gunner would do best in a home that understands his sensitive nature and is willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. In return, he will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Maisie is an approximately 1-year-old sweetheart who came into rescue after raising a litter of puppies. Now that her mom duties are behind her, it’s finally her turn to be cared for and loved.

She weighs around 55 lbs and is fully vetted—spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and on monthly prevention—so she is 

Meet Maisie

Maisie is an approximately 1-year-old sweetheart who came into rescue after raising a litter of puppies. Now that her mom duties are behind her, it’s finally her turn to be cared for and loved.

She weighs around 55 lbs and is fully vetted—spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and on monthly prevention—so she is ready to begin her next chapter with a forever family.

Maisie is the definition of a gentle, loving companion. She is incredibly trusting and happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up all the affection she can get. Her calm, sweet nature makes her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes, including those with children or seniors.

Like many Huskies, Maisie enjoys spending time outdoors and would benefit from a fully fenced yard where she can safely explore and relax while her family is busy. Despite her love for the outdoors, she is just as content being by your side.

Maisie sleeps well through the night in her crate and has excellent house manners. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and is beginning to learn how to play, though toys aren’t quite her thing just yet.

On walks, Maisie is a dream—she walks nicely on leash, rarely pulls, and prefers to stay close to her person rather than wandering or stopping frequently. She is currently working on basic commands like “sit” and is already very polite, greeting new people without jumping.

Maisie truly is a special girl with so much love to give. She’s ready to leave her past behind and become a cherished member of a family who will give her the life she deserves.
